Crosrol has introduced a completely new range of cotton blowroom and carding machinery for ring spun, open-end and nonwoven applications.

The company’s world leading technology is exemplified by the new MK7 card and a full range of newly-designed, PLC-controlled blowroom equipment – from the automatic bale opener onwards.

Crosrol UK is dedicated to supplying spare parts and service for all the Crosrol blowroom and carding installations worldwide. The company has 20,000 carding cylinders in operation around the world and continuity of service is ensured for clients.

A computerised order processing system linked to the warehouse provides for the prompt delivery of the full range of Crosrol mechanical and electronic spare parts.

The complete range of parts is available for all the machines previously manufactured by Crosrol Halifax during the past 40 years. Original spare parts manufacturing is undertaken at Crosrol UK’s modern machine facilities in Bradford.

Mechanical parts include:

  • Aluminium plates
  • Crosrol underscreens
  • Flats (stationary and revolving)
  • Pinned rollers
  • All mechanical parts, belts, gears, coilers and reduction gearboxes.

The company’s specialist team of electrical engineers provides a full repair and replacement service for Crosol PC and PLC management systems, including all circuit boards, interfaces and electrical components.

A replacement PLC-controlled card management system for the MK5 and newer models was successfully introduced in 2009.

In addition, Crosrol UK provides a full maintenance system kit for:

  • Flats grinding and calibration
  • Flats clipping
  • Cylinder and doffer grinding

The company can also provide technical support, mill audits and problem-solving for Crosrol installations to enable customers to obtain the best results from them.

  • The conversion of mechanical autolevellers on MK4 cards to MK5 model electronic versions.
