LORES Macart logoMacart S300

Macart manufactures and supplies new textile machinery and spare parts, as well as second-hand machinery.

The company's S300 Spinning Systems machine combines roving, spinning, twisting, yarn bulking and take-up winding operations into a single process to produce two-fold yarns in the count range 2/16Nm to 2/42Nm.

The S300 will process synthetic staple fibre, natural fibres and their blends with fibre lengths suitable for worsted spinning. It is especially suitable for high bulk (HB) acrylic yarn production.

By reducing the number of process operations in the factory there are large savings made in labour, energy, maintenance, floor space and waste.

The Macart MK1E is the replacement for the Platt MK1 or ST888 model. It is the basic 'Repco' machine incorporating the electronic gear box and servo technology of the S300 but only available with feeding from 1g/m roving (from can or flyer roving) and delivery onto four off 150mm traverse parallel cones. It is  the most economic method of manufacturing HB acrylic yarn for machine knitting.

The new MK1E will be unveiled at the ITMA 2011 textile machinery show in Barcelona, Spain.
