Texkimp

Creels and for wide-ranging textile applications

Texkimp is expert in unwinding all types of fibres – threads, yarns, cords, high performance fibre tows, ribbons, wires, tapes and monofilaments etc.

If the material can be wound onto a supply package – Texkimp can unwind it.

The company has a full range of creel designs for unwinding either over-end from stationary packages, or by tangential 'unrolling' unwind from rotating packages.

Market sectors

Texkimp delivers creels to a wide range of market sectors, including tyre cord weaving, polyolefine tapes and monofilaments, high performance fibres (e.g. carbon, Dyneema, Spectra, aramid, glass etc.) and traditional textiles. As a result of our extensive experience of different materials and processes, our customers achieve top product quality and production efficiency.

Creel options

Creel options range from very simple mechanical systems to the latest inverter drive technology. Creel sizes range from thousands of unwinding positions down to individual package unwinding solutions. Package weights up to 500kgs and speeds up to 1500m/min.

Custom-designed

Texkimp designs creels to meet the specific production and operational needs of each customer. Extensive experience, combined with responsive and imaginative engineering, ensure Texkimp creels satisfy the requirements of management, operators and the process.

Process experience

Customers investing in Texkimp creels gain access to over 40 years of unwinding and process experience, and obtain equipment that will run for many years at a consistently high performance level with virtually no maintenance requirements.
